About Dr. Rozbruch

Jacob D. Rozbruch, MD has been working as an Orthopedic Surgeon in NYC for the past 40 years. Double board certified in Orthopedics and Pediatrics, Dr. Rozbruch received his training at the Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS), New York Hospital, and Memorial Sloan Kettering of Cornell Medical Center. He was rated the “Best Orthopedic Surgeon in the New York Metropolitan Area” by New York Magazine, and was placed in their Orthopedic Hall of Fame. Among many other awards, he has been repeatedly selected to Castle Connelly’s list of Top Doctors over the last 20 years, as well as received the Most Compassionate Doctor & Patient’s Choice Awards by Vitals.

Highly respected and beloved by his patients, Dr. Rozbruch is Emeritus Chief of Orthopedic Surgery at Beth Israel North. For the past 18 years, he was Chief of General Orthopedics at Mount Sinai-Beth Israel in Manhattan, an Attending Orthopedic Surgeon at Mount Sinai Medical Center, and an Associate Professor of Clinical Orthopedics at Beth Israel Medical Center. Prioritizing the highest level of patient care, Dr. Rozbruch has unique expertise in diagnosing complex problems and offering the most effective treatments available to his patients.

In a field that has become more and more sub-specialized over the years, Dr. Rozbruch stands out in his unique ability to diagnose and treat the whole individual – from problems of the lumbar spine and hip to those of the knee, shoulder and foot. He has built his practice upon a genuine interest in problem solving, with the patient’s needs as integral to decision making. Regardless of where the musculoskeletal issue arises, diagnosis and treatment is Dr. Rozbruch’s specialty. He enjoys getting to know his patients, and provides them with the necessary steps to address each unique case.
